THIS season has seen more Polish players in Serie A than ever before – but it is Krzysztof Piatek who has had the biggest impact.
The Poland striker made the move from Cracovia to Genoa last summer but 19 goals in 21 games have earned him a career-defining move to AC Milan.
Never mind the fact he was denied the opportunity to wear the famous No 9 shirt.
Life is undoubtedly good for the 23-year-old – and no doubt made better by the fact his rapid rise has been achieved with stunning girlfriend Paulina Procyk by his side.
Far from just going along for the ride, though, Paulina is forging her own successful career in law.
The 27-year-old studied at the University of Wroclaw and is now a trained lawyer.
